Delivery Policy
Last updated: 28 March 2025
At MCS Waste Group, we work with a trusted network of fully licensed skip hire companies across the UK to provide you with fast, reliable, and affordable skip delivery services. While we do not operate our own fleet, all bookings, payments, and customer communications are handled directly through our platform, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience from start to finish.
1. Skip Delivery Times
Once we receive your order, a member of our team will contact you by phone or email to confirm your booking and arrange your skip delivery date. We aim to match your preferred delivery date where possible, depending on local availability and any permit requirements.
In most cases, skips can be delivered within 24–48 hours of confirmation. However, delivery times may vary based on your location, the size of skip ordered, and the availability of our local partner.
Standard delivery windows are:
- Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays)
- Between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
While we cannot guarantee specific time slots, we’ll always do our best to keep you informed and provide an estimated delivery window.
2. Same-Day & Next-Day Delivery
Same-day or next-day skip delivery may be available in certain areas. Please check availability when placing your order. Orders for same-day delivery must be placed before 10:00 AM, subject to local partner availability and any required permits.
3. Access Requirements
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery at the specified location. Skips are typically delivered using large vehicles, and it is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Ensure clear access to the property
- Confirm there is enough space for the skip and delivery vehicle
- Notify us of any access restrictions, narrow roads, weight limits, or time constraints at the time of booking
If access is restricted or delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or missing information, a wasted journey fee may apply.
4. Council Permits (If Placing on a Public Road)
If you require a skip to be placed on a public highway or council-owned land, a permit may be required. MCS Waste Group can arrange this on your behalf through our partner network. Permit approval times vary by council, and delivery may be delayed until the permit is granted.
5. Delivery Delays
While we make every effort to deliver on time, delays may occasionally occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Traffic or road conditions
- Weather disruptions
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Local availability or operational issues from our supply partners
In the event of a delay, our team will keep you informed and rearrange delivery at the earliest possible time.
6. Failed Deliveries
If a skip cannot be delivered due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. no access, incorrect address, or cancelled permit), you may be charged a failed delivery fee to cover the cost of the attempted delivery.
7. Contact & Support
If you have any questions or need to make changes to your delivery, please contact our customer support team as early as possible:

Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
