Committed to Sustainable Waste Management

We are committed to recycling 100% of the waste we collect from your skip. After your skip is collected we take it to a waste transfer station where all the waste is separated into different categories such as:
  • Paper: Paper is categorized into various types and grades. It undergoes a washing process using water and chemicals to eliminate ink, glue, and staples. Finally, the paper is dried and rolled up, making it ready to be transformed into new products.
  • Metal: Scrap metal, especially aluminum, copper, zinc, and iron, is increasingly in demand. We sort the metal into different categories before recycling and converting it into new products. The metals are shredded and melted in furnaces at very high temperatures to produce sheets or blocks, which are then sold to manufacturers.
  • Garden Waste: Green waste, such as grass, hedge trimmings, and tree cuttings, is sent to specialized facilities where it is converted into compost. This compost is used in gardens and landscaping projects. Many types of garden waste can be recycled in this manner.
  • Building Waste: Materials like brick, concrete, stone, glass, and tiles are crushed to create hardcore, which serves as a sub-base for construction projects. Note that plasterboard cannot be disposed of in skips because it contains sulfates, which can generate highly toxic hydrogen sulfide when mixed with general waste.
By using our skip hire services, you are contributing to making our planet a greener, more sustainable place for future generations.
